Biscuit came to us in January after his family moved abroad and couldn't arrange transport. He spent his first two weeks at the shelter confused and a little heartbroken — perfectly understandable — but he found his footing once he went into foster care with Amara. Now he's the dog who greets every guest at the door and then shows them to the couch.
He's genuinely calm for a three-year-old Lab. He likes long walks but doesn't demand them. He figured out the cat in his foster home within 48 hours and has been respectful ever since. He's been reliable off-leash in fenced areas and hasn't had an accident in the house in six weeks.
He does best with a consistent routine and someone around for most of the day. He's not destructive when alone, but he's happiest when he's part of what's happening. He'll make an excellent second-in-command.
