Sent the scan folder — let me know if the registration overlay reads cleanly on your end.

Thanks for the dry-time number. Going to test 4-min vs 7-min on the Vandercook this weekend — will report back.

Picture: the binder migration sample I mentioned in the thread. This is after 5 years stored at 18°C, 55% RH.

You: that’s a really kind thing to say — thank you. Hope Berlin treats you well next week.

Hey — I’ve been holding onto a folder of cold-set registration scans from a year of tests. Want me to send it over for the printmakers thread? Happy to share it openly if you think it would help.
Note: about half are failed pulls. They’re the most useful ones, honestly.

Yes please — that would settle a year of debate in the field-design corner. If you’re happy to share publicly I can mention you in the writeup; otherwise I’ll keep it to the thread.
No pressure either way. Either is a real gift.

Public is fine. Credit appreciated but not required. Here’s the post that started it, for context:

A year ago I tested cold-set ink at -2°C and the registration drifted exactly 0.2mm. Today I tested the same combo at +6°C and it drifted 0.05mm. Temperature isn’t additive, it’s a curve. Will write this up properly.

Folder link below. 24 scans, named by date and temp. Read me file included.

Sent the scan folder — let me know if the registration overlay reads cleanly on your end. Some of the early scans were on a different paper so the overlay can look misaligned but isn’t.
