What this blueprint gives you

Fan Channels turns a creator’s subscriber list into a living, breathing community. Members pay to unlock private channels, exclusive posts, and live drops — all inside a space that carries the creator’s colors, type, and voice, not a platform’s. The chrome disappears behind avatars and posts; the only accent color on screen is the one the creator chose.

Five planning documents at senior-team depth cover the subscription funnel, channel architecture, live-drop scheduling, member directory, and the creator dashboard that surfaces MRR, per-channel engagement, and early churn signals — all without requiring a data team to read it.

The member experience

A subscriber opens the app and lands directly in the channel feed — the wall of posts, clips, and replies from channels they follow. Nothing else competes for attention. Pinned drops appear at the top of the feed with a countdown; past drops archive below. The member directory lets subscribers find and follow each other, keeping the community from feeling like a one-way broadcast.

Subscribing is a single-page decision: the creator’s best content, their member count, and a clear price. One tap starts the trial or pays immediately. Cancellation is honest — no dark patterns, no hidden fees.

The creator dashboard

Creators see what matters: MRR with a trailing 30-day sparkline, active subscribers vs. churned, per-channel engagement rate, and a churn-risk list — members who went quiet in the last two weeks. Every metric is actionable. Low engagement on a channel surfaces a one-tap option to send a drop to re-activate it. Churn-risk members get a personal note queue.

Drops: the retention engine

A drop is a timed exclusive — a voice note, a video, a file, a behind-the-scenes image batch, or a live Q&A session. Creators schedule drops in the drops scheduler, pick which channels see them, and set a countdown. Members get a push notification. The drop disappears from the feed after its window, creating scarcity without manipulation.

Brand ownership

The creator sets one accent color. It flows through every CTA, every active state, every notification dot. The platform’s visual identity is silent. Members experience the creator’s brand, not Fan Channels’. Creators can upload a cover image, set a tagline, and choose from three layout moods (editorial, minimal, bold) — all rendered without any platform watermark.

What the blueprint covers

Five planning documents at senior-team depth, a comprehensive design system with every component the five mockup screens need, and a mockups directory ready for pass B. The blueprint spans the full product: the public subscribe page, the member-facing channel feed and member directory, the creator-facing drops scheduler and revenue dashboard.

BRAND — Fan Channels One line Your world. Your colors. Your fans inside it. The persona we're designing for Mika is 27. She has 180k followers across two platforms and earns roughly $4,200/month from a mix of brand deals and a Patreon that never quite feels like hers . She's not a tech founder. She's a visual artist who treats every pixel as brand. She knows exactly what her accent color is — she's had it since her first channel banner. She wants her paying fans to feel like they walked into her

DESIGN — Fan Channels Information architecture Two distinct surfaces share a single data layer. The community surface (member facing): channel feed, member directory, subscribe page. Brand forward, content first. The creator's accent color owns every interactive state. Chrome shrinks to near zero. The creator surface (creator and moderator facing): creator dashboard, drops scheduler, channel management, community settings. Light canvas, data dense, operational. MRD — Fan Channels Market summary Creator monetization has bifurcated. The largest platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram) pay creators per view but own the relationship with the audience. A generation of subscription layers (Patreon, Ko fi, OnlyFans, Substack) let creators charge directly but offer generic, platform branded containers. The gap is meaningful: creators who have a strong visual identity and a loyal core audience want a branded membership space that feels like them — not a form host
