What this blueprint gives you

A complete group-buy commerce platform: buyers commit to a deal at the current tier price, and the unit price drops as more people join. Orders only charge when enough commitments reach a tier threshold — no tier hit, no charge, no risk. The organizer sets the deal, the ladder, and the deadline; the platform handles the rest.

The tier ladder is the product

Every deal centers on a visible price ladder — three to six tiers, each showing the commitment count, the unit price at that level, and how many more buyers are needed to unlock the next drop. The ladder updates in real time as buyers join. When the next tier breaks, a push notification fires and the deal page celebrates with a brief animation. The lowest tier always shows what is possible; the counter shows what is happening right now.

Commitments, not purchases

Buyers reserve their spot with a single-tap commitment. Payment is held but not captured until the deal closes at or above its minimum tier. If the minimum is not met before the deadline, all holds are released and no one is charged. This model makes buyers comfortable joining early — and gives organizers a real-time signal of demand before committing to inventory.

My commitments dashboard

Every buyer gets a personal commitments view showing every active deal they have joined, the current tier their payment will land on, the countdown to deal close, and an “invite a friend” action that shortens the path to the next tier. When a deal closes, the view transitions instantly to order confirmation with a tracking reference.

Organizer tools

Deal creators manage the full lifecycle from a single dashboard: draft a deal, set tier prices and commitment thresholds, write a fulfillment plan, and monitor real-time commitment growth. When a deal hits its closing tier the organizer receives a settlement summary — total units, final price per unit, payout amount after platform fee — and triggers fulfillment with one action. Bulk export of buyer addresses is available immediately after close.

Settlement and fulfillment

After a deal closes, the platform charges all held commitments at the final unlocked tier price, generates an itemized settlement ledger for the organizer, and sends a confirmation with an order reference to every buyer. The organizer can mark shipments as dispatched, log tracking numbers per buyer or in bulk, and the buyer’s commitment view updates to show shipping status in place of the countdown.

Built for repeat organizers and niche communities

A single organizer can run multiple concurrent deals across different products, each with its own ladder and deadline. Community members subscribe to an organizer’s deal feed and are notified the moment a new deal opens. Referral links let early committers share a deal with a personal tracking parameter, earning them early-bird credit if enough people follow their link and the deal unlocks ahead of schedule.

She finds underserved demand inside a tight community: mechanical keyboard enthusiasts who want a specific artisan keycap set, a specialty coffee collective that wants to split a pallet of single origin beans at roastery prices, a neighborhood co op pooling a bulk order of organic flour. MRD — Group Buy Market summary Group buys are a purchasing coordination model with deep roots in niche hobbyist and enthusiast communities — mechanical keyboards, specialty audio, artisan goods, specialty food, homebrewing, tabletop gaming, outdoor gear. In these communities, a single motivated organizer can aggregate hundreds of individual orders that would otherwise be impossible to place (the supplier's minimum order quantity is too large for any one buyer). The mechanic is proven: post the t

PRD — Group Buy Product summary A group buy platform where buyers commit to a deal at the current tier price, and the unit price drops automatically as more people join. Orders charge only when a commitment threshold is hit before the deadline. Organizers create deals, set tier ladders, monitor real time commitment counts, and settle with a single action. Buyers see the live tier state, commit with one tap, and receive immediate notification when a better price tier unlocks. Personas Priya, comm
