AI interview preparation

Interview Coach

AI-driven mock interviews for engineering, PM, and case roles — the AI plays the interviewer, you answer by voice, and a senior-grade scorecard pulls apart the framing of every answer.

  • Full planning bundle — BRAND, MRD, BRD, PRD, DESIGN
  • Branded styleguide — typography, color, components
  • 5 previewable mockups

What this blueprint gives you

A full consumer-grade workspace for serious interview preparation. The candidate picks a drill from a curated library — staff-level system design, PM strategy, McKinsey case math, behavioral — opens a live session, and the AI runs the interview at human cadence: one question at a time, follow-ups, silence, the works. The candidate speaks the answer out loud. Voice is transcribed live so the page reads like the room.

When the session ends, the scorecard arrives. It is not a vanity badge. It is a written critique against a published rubric — structure, signal, evidence, recovery — with the exact words the candidate said clipped from the transcript and held up against what a strong answer would have looked like. Where the answer failed, a drill is queued for the next session.

Five planning documents (BRAND, MRD, BRD, PRD, DESIGN) at senior-team depth, covering the interviewer model, the rubric ontology, the voice pipeline, the drill-recommendation engine, and the operations of running paid mock-interview subscriptions against an LLM backbone.

This is a tool for people who are about to walk into a real interview next month and need an honest mirror tonight. The brand is exam-room calm — charcoal canvas, one lantern accent — and the transcript is the protagonist. Knobs hide; words speak.

Built for engineering candidates targeting staff and senior roles, product managers prepping for FAANG product-sense rounds, and consulting candidates working through MBB-style case math. The library covers all three on day one.

Ships with the studio dashboard a coach or career service can operate at the back of, so the same workspace serves the individual subscriber and the bootcamp / career-service partner.

BRAND — Interview Coach One line An exam room you can open at seven in the evening, anywhere, with a senior interviewer waiting and an honest scorecard at the end. Who it speaks to Priya, twenty seven, three years into her career as a software engineer at a Series B fintech in New York. She is interviewing in five weeks for a staff role at a payments company and a senior role at a design tool. She has done six loops in her life and frozen in two of them. She knows the LeetCode pattern; she does

DESIGN — Interview Coach Information architecture One surface. Unlike most consumer products, this one does not split a candidate view from an operator view at the brand level — the rubric and the transcript are the same on both. The studio operator surface is a privileged read of the candidate's room. Top level navigation. Library, Live, Progress, Account. Four words. The product does not need a fifth. Session as a route. A live session takes over the entire viewport (no chrome around it). When

MRD — Interview Coach Market summary The market for interview preparation in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and India is approximately 1.4 million paying users per year across the categories the blueprint targets: software engineering (system design, coding conversation, behavioral), product management (product sense, execution, strategy), and management consulting (case math, market sizing, structured problem solving). The category is growing both because the underlying job mark

BRD — Interview Coach Business model A consumer subscription priced for the prep window. The candidate pays for the eight to ten weeks they are interviewing, then churns — and that is the model, not a failure of the model. The career service tier is a seat license overlay that flattens churn for the bootcamp and graduate program partners. 1. Monthly self serve subscription. The default purchase. The candidate signs up, runs a free intro session, hits a paywall on session two, and pays. Auto rene

PRD — Interview Coach Product summary A workspace where a candidate practices interview rounds against an AI interviewer that holds a published rubric. The candidate picks a drill from a curated library, opens a live session, answers by voice, and receives a written scorecard that quotes the transcript and prescribes the next drill. The drill library, the live session, the scorecard, and the progress chart are the four surfaces a paying candidate uses every week. Personas Priya — staff engineeri
